Let's be honest, the majority of us aren't using our trucks to haul heavy tools, machinery, and supplies on a daily basis. We're weekend warriors, DIY'ers, sports & outdoors people, and travelers.
After a 3-year journey of research & development, we arrived at the intersection of affordability, flexibility, and usability.
We read lots of user complaints, and comments all around the internet with people having the same issues we did. We couldn't find a system that matched the way we lived and used our trucks. For those of us with short beds in midsize trucks with tonneau covers, we'd lose too much bed height with most cargo slides. Or with a storage box system, we lose the ability to fully utilize the entirety of our beds for hauling other gear.Either a system was too heavy to carry around on a daily basis, or it was too restrictive, or ,Finally, a system that doesn'tidn't take up a ton of bed height, didn't weigh a ton, was removable so you could still have full access to your bed whenever needed, and expanded the capabilities of offered lots of customizable mounting solutions for all sorts of gear. Finally, with the realization that the most common bed size today is between 5-5'6" since people are buying more crew cabs, we wanted to find a way to maximize the space and increase the capability of these shorter beds.
We set out on a 3-year journey of research & development, starting with wood prototypes and steadily testing & refining the design. We kept affordability in mind for the customer, and also wanted to use as many domestic materials as possible. 95% of the product is made from domestic materials.
